Bruce Gay, PMP, has over 20 years of experience managing programs and customer relationships across healthcare IT, telecommunications and military/defense industries. Currently a senior program manager at UPMC Enterprises (the commercialization arm of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), he manages a multimillion-dollar program to develop and deploy the next generation of radiology informatics systems. Over the past 13 years, he has managed teams that incorporated UX Design and design thinking methodologies into their product development processes.

Mr. Gay has presented at both regional and international conferences such PMI® Global Conferences in Chicago, Los Angeles and Dublin, Ireland. He lives in Pittsburgh, PA, USA with his wife, two daughters and his dog. He shares his experiences and ideas around design thinking on Twitter as @brucegay. Mr. Gay is also an active volunteer for the PMI Pittsburgh Chapter where he manages corporate sponsorship.
